Booklidays thinks it is important that the personal information of her tenants, letters and visitors of the website are protected as best as possible and are handled confidentially. That is why we handle your personal information with the utmost care.

Processing personal information
 

If you register for one of our services, we will ask you to enter your personal information. We use this information to perform our services, like the confirmation of your booking. If you send us any e-mails or other messages, it is possible we may store them. At times, we might ask for your personal information that is relevant to a certain specific situation. This makes it possible for us to process any and all of your questions and requests. 

Furthermore, we could use your information to inform you on interesting offers and new accommodations (for instance). If you do not wish to receive any likewise information, please send us an e-mail at admin@booklidays.nl.

Protection personal information

Your personal information as processed by us will be stored on a secure server of Booklidays. In order to secure this server, we use one of the most modern and safe techniques: Secure Socket Layer. By so doing, we prevent unauthorised persons from accessing your information.

Purposes
We do not collect or use any information from you for other purposes than the purposes that are described in this privacy policy, unless we received prior explicit permission from you.

Third
parties
We will never make your information available to third parties without your permission, unless this is necessary for the completion of your booking. Our employees are obliged to respect confidentiality of your information.

Address of accommodations
The addresses of accommodations on Booklidays are not stated on our website under privacy laws. Tenants that book holiday accommodation through Booklidays will be sent the address of their accommodation upon payment.


References to sites of third parties
On our website, you may find various references and links to third party websites. Booklidays is not responsible for the manner in which these sites handle your personal information. Please consult the privacy policy of the site you visit in advance.

Visitor behaviour and cookies
Our websites keep track of visitor’s information, such as the most consulted pages by a visitor. We use this information to optimise the layout of website. We can also use this information to offer you specific information, such as the recommendation of an accommodation. This way, Booklidays can further optimise her service for you.
Booklidays also uses cookies. Cookies are little text files that are saved to your hard drive whenever you visit a website. They contain information about your preferences. Booklidays uses this information to adjust our websites specifically to your needs and thus increase our user friendliness. Social plugins from Facebook and Google Plus
Booklidays uses the ‘Like’ button (plug-in) of Facebook and the ‘+1’ button of Google Plus on its websites. This means that during a visit to our website, your browser makes an indirect connection with the servers of Facebook and/or Google Plus. The content of the plug-in is then transferred to your browser and added to Facebook/Google Plus. Booklidays does not have any influence on the amount of information the social media sites collect in this manner. Because Booklidays has the plug-ins of Facebook and Google Plus on her website, these social media sites will be informed whenever you visit our website. Furthermore, if you are logged into your Facebook and/or Google Plus account, your visit to Booklidays can be linked to your user account. If you use the plug-in, for instance, by liking our website, the accompanying information is sent directly by your browser to Facebook/Google Plus and stored there.
