Booklidays "Your Holiday Home"
Booklidays rents out a wide range of individual
accommodations in tourist locations. Our holiday accommodations mainly have a
unique location, for instance in a village centre, near the ocean or nearby a
nature reserve. You will be staying amidst the local population, so you will be
able to enjoy the atmosphere of your holiday destination as much as possible.

Via our
online platform, we bring together and help tenants and landlords of individual
homes in the most transparent and professional manner possible.
Vision
We think
that searching for, booking and renting individual homes should be a carefree
and relaxed process. Our logo doesn’t have a smiley for nothing!
Foundation
Booklidays
(formerly known as Home Holiday rental service) was founded in 2009 by two
young, enthusiastic entrepreneurs from Zandvoort. Via various mediation
agencies, they rented out their own home and apartments for years.
“What we thought was missing with most
agencies was service, advice and a bit of personality. Some organisations
charged a high commission, others didn’t have the option to have check-in and
check-out taken care of and that’s why renting out required a lot of time. Time
that we didn’t have…”
Quick build-up of reputation and collaboration
In the
beginning of 2009, Home Holiday registered with the Chamber of Commerce. Thanks
to a bit of local marketing and mostly word-of-mouth advertising, Home Holiday
acquired a good reputation within a short period of time among homeowners in
Zandvoort. Soon, Home Holiday started working with the Tourist Office in
Zandvoort.

had some bad experiences with tenants. Then, when I decided to go abroad for
six months on unpaid leave, I couldn’t do anything else but rent out my home to

From Home Holiday to
Booklidays
The number of accommodations for rent via Home Holiday has increased incredibly
over the past few years. In order to offer even better service to tenants and
landlords, a new website will be launched in 2014. Home Holiday also introduces
its new name: Booklidays. The goal is
to further expand the number of accommodations and bookings.
Customer service
Booklidays can be reached by phone or e-mail.
We strive to answer questions from clients by e-mail within 24 hours. Bookings
from tenants will also be processed daily. Landlords can always reach their own
contact person with any questions they may have.
